Sounds like you have a bad ign. module. When the engine is cold moisture causes the miss and when the engine warms the module shorts out all together.

it can be but it maybe not sending signal to ecm check the plug going to dist. maybe bad

You can find the miss by starting the engine and pulling one plug at a time. when you find the one that doesn't change how the engine runs, there is your problem area. things to do are, first I would switch the wire and see if the miss goes away. If it doesn't then pull the plug and see if it is fouled out. do a compression test on that cylinder. if the compressionis low you can spray some wd40 in the cylinder and retest. if the pressure comes up then the rings are bad, if it doesn't then you have a valve problem.let me know

Make sure the engine is running right, sometimes they wont shift if the engine is missing or losing vacuum. Sounds like the computer system is sensing there is not enough torque to shift into the higher gears so it is preventing it. This could be caused by your engine not running right under load, bad gas, bad plugs or something that is causing your engine to miss under load

Your TCU (transmission Control Unit) is bad. it is located behind the passenger side kick panel. you can purchase it on ebay for about 79.00 with exchange.

check fuse #9 in the fuse box for being blown or lacking power...if there is no power to the fuse it is possible the ignition switch is bad
