If you cannot find the answer n matter what you do, and time passes with the problem still needing an answer, try to buy a "service manual" for that car online. I used to have one, but discarded it.
Ask on e-bay or Amazon or somewhere.
The back of such service manuals ( very thick soft cover books) have a wiring diagram inside with color codes.
God bless your efforts.

I have a 2006 Honda Odyssey Touring. 3.5L V6. When I turn my headlights on, the left turning indicator light comes on inside and the turn signals won't work. When I turn my lights off, the turn signals...

Your headlight switch is shorting to you blinker switch or vise versa. This effects the interior lights because the dimmer switch is wired with the headlight switch. Both switches will need to be rewired. For a car that's less than 10 years old that is ridiculous. You could try to lodge a complaint with Honda. Most cars don't have issues like that for at least 20 years. So unless you've been driving through the arctic or have 500,000 miles you should not be impressed.

I have purchased a wiring harness that plugs into the factory connections. I am able to get brake lights and turn signals. The running lights do not work, also when the running lights are on the brake...

Check this location. They have color codes and wiring diagrams. Make sure the trailer has a good ground. It MUST have the ground wire connected to the truck and trailer or you will have a floating ground through the ball. That will cause blown fuses. http://www.etrailer.com/faq-wiring.aspx

How do i remove the turn signal switch from a 1984 nissan 300zx?

What you really want to remove is the "Combination Switch" which controls the
a) headlights b) turn signals, and c) windshield wipers.
The new switch comes with the Left-hand handle attached (expect to pay $$$).

I found your solution (with illustration and replacement parts) at
www.autozone.com/autozone/repairinfo/repairguide/repairGuideContent.jsp?pageId=0900c15280071fa4
Autozone will expect you to register with the site - free. Since your car is a 1984, buy
a Haynes manual - $20 anywhere (try Pep Boys, Advance Auto Parts, etc.)

(I don't work for Autozone) Autozone sells 2 replacement switches:
the one you want is: Duralast SW1836 $122.99 - it has the combination switch and handle only.
They also sell: Duralast SW1690 $170.99, which has the combination switch/handle and also a
collar going around the steering wheel and another switch and handle on the right side of the column.

1. remove steering column cover.
2. unfasten the wiper switch electrical connector.
3. remove the wiper switch-to-combination switch retaining screws, then pull the wiper switch off of the combination switch.
4. The combination switch is now disconnected and can be removed.
5. Installation of new part is reverse of removal.

Im looking for color of a brake wire

Hello heinz2127: My name is Roger and i will help you. The rear brake wires are green and yellow. They also are the turn signal wires. The brake lights work through the turn signal switch. The turn signal switch has logistics for determining which side is blinking so as to make the opposite side to show park brake light.Check the fuse box for a blown fuse. Look at the fuse box under the hood. Also try this. Turn on the four way flashers. Step on the brake pedal . The lights should stop flashing If not I would replace the turn signal switch.

'05 Chevrolet Malibu - Front Right Blinker is not Working

You need to check for power coming out of the turn signal switch with a test light, or voltmeter. On older Chevys, the R/F turn signal wire is dark blue. Check the color of your wire at the bulb socket, then locate the turn signal switch connector, and probe that color wire with the ignition switch on, and turn signal switch in the right position. If you have power coming out of the T/S switch, you have bad connection, or open circuit between it and the bulb socket.
