Reseting memory on toyota yaris 2007

That's should be enough to reset it unless it wasn't disconnected long enough. You may also need to connect a tool to your diagnostics connector

Call a key program expert. You cannot do it yourself.

To reset the engine malfunction light disconnect the battery negative terminal for 5 Sec or more and then reconnect. Relearn the idle speed control valve. Relearn the windows.
To reset the maintenance light switch on the ignition. Bring the trip meter to A. Switch off the ignition. Press and hold the trip meter button. While pressing the button switch on the ignition and keep pressing it for 10 sec and release.

Engine stalls soon after starting
1. Fuel pump control circuit.
2. Spark plugs.
3. Ignition system.
4. Fuel Injectors.
5. Variable valve timing system.
6. Electronic throttle control system.
7. Air induction system.
8. PCV hose -
9. Compression

- Remove 4 (with 6mm socket) and cylinder head plastic cover.
- Disconnect Igniters connectors.
- Remove the bolts and ignition coils.
- Remove the spark plugs with 16 mm spark plug socket.
- Inspect the electrodes of all spark plugs. If the electrodes are found to be round or corroded at their tips, replace all together.
- Adjust the spark plug gap to 0.9 -1.1 mm.

Remove battery negative terminal before carrying any repair work on the engine.

Instructions

1. • 1 Insert the key into the ignition. Turn the switch to the "On" position.
     
   • 2 Press the odometer reset button repeatedly until "Trip A" is displayed.
     
   • 3 Turn the ignition to the "OFF" position.
     
   • 4 Press and hold the odometer reset button. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
     
   • 5 Release the odometer reset button after the indicator displays "000000." The maintenance service light turns off.

Open the hood.

Always remove the negative (-) cable first, then the positive (+). Then unscrew the battery mounting hardware and lift out.

Assembly is a reverse of the above.

Check your owner's manual. Then try the other button? This is a new car, though. Try disconnecting the negative battery terminal for about 15-minutes to reset 'all'.

1. open car door
2. put key in ignition
3. keep door open while turning key to “ON” position (not starting the car, just ‘ON’)
4. turn the odometer to “TRIP A”
5. hold down the odometer reset button and quickly turn the car to ‘OFF’
6. now wait 5-10 seconds and turn the car back to “ON” while STILL holding down the button
7. a few ——- (dashes) should appear and a countdown will begin and it will reset itself.
8. now your light is off and you can start your car!
