Your exhaust system is plugged, probably at the Catalytic Converter.

P0026 intake control valve circuit. This needs fixed first. It's the reason your converter is smoking. Have it diagnosed soon. If not, you be buying a really expensive catalytic converter. It is made of ceramic and will melt. Clog up.

700 and 571 on dodge charger sl 2006 2.7 6cyl.

I researched these codes and found the following suggestions.Has your vehicle gone into limp mode (i.e.-check engine light is on &/or vehicle isn't making its normal power output??) Check your transmission fluid with the engine warm and at idle and if it's low, fill it to the appropriate level.P0700 is normally set when the tcm detects a fault. This is a common fault code in this model.Low/dirty transmission fluid can cause two sensors inside the transmission to short out requiring you to replace them.P0571 is related to the brake/cruise control switch, which is connected to your brake pedal. This operates your brake lights and deactivates the cruise control when you step on the brake pedal to slow down/stop.Have someone verify your brake lights are working and also make sure they're not remaining on after the pedal is released as non functioning brake lights could cause an accident. If your cruise control is working, verify it is shutting off when you press the brake pedal down.If it's not shutting off, that could also be dangerous too just like no brake lights. If it's not shutting off, check the switch to make sure it hasn't been knocked loose from the pedal and check the wiring harness also to make sure it's still connected.Check any fuse for the cruise control and brake lights also.
If the transmission fluid is low and you top it off and if you correct any condition present with the cruise/brake light switch, clear the codes with a scanner or get AutoZone/Etc to do it for free to see if the codes clear and remain that way.

I have a 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500 2wd pickup. The check engine light along with the service stabilitrak and traction control lights also came on. It runs rough at idle or low speed. Where do I start?

Have it check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes . If the check engine light starts flashing , park it . The flashing check engine light is telling you there is a catalytic converter damaging miss fire happening . An they can be damaged very easy .

My Camry idles low, feels like its going to die

you should check the wires and the plug on thje ccv vent control solenoid, if they look good replace the solenoid, get the catalytic converter checked at a shop, a clogged cat can cause some of the other codes.

Diagnostic test P0026 Solenoid Intake

the test will show as many problems/codes as are present in the memory of the PCM. (power train control module) If u were charged for this repair he or she did not do the job of diagnosing the code properly, they guessed, the reason for this is only the dealer has the correct equip to work on your Subaru and try and get it fixed right the 1st time, that is why dealer costs are higher, tech training and lots of expensive test gear.

It probably is the converter. The check engine light has nothing to do with maintenance at all, nor does it really directly concern the engine. The check engine light comes on for emmission purposes. Such as converter, loose gas cap and all kinds of sensors.

Determine which O2 sensor to replace.

There are many reasons for a PO171 code, these need to be checked before replacing O2's:

  • Vehicle driven low on fuel or until it ran out of fuel
  • One or more injectors restricted or pressure regulator has failed
  • Fuel delivery system supplying too much or too little fuel during cruise or idle periods (e.g., faulty fuel pump, or dirty fuel filter)
  • Air leaks after the MAF sensor, or air leaks in the PCV system
  • Air leaks at the EGR gasket, or at the EGR valve diaphragm
  • Exhaust leaks before or near where the front HO2S is mounted
  • HO2S is contaminated, deteriorated or it has failed
  • Fuel control sensor is out of calibration (i.e., ECT, IAT or MAP)
  • Base engine "mechanical" fault affecting one or more cylinders.
