How do I reset the airbag light in a 2008 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor?

Same as with any MIL Lamp or check light, you
get on your dash, you check for codes, to see if you have
a system fault, diagnose the fault & make the repairs required

Folks have to give up this stuff about resetting things

If ANY light stays light on your dash after the motor is running
or your driving-- you have problems

Clearing-- NOT-- resetting anything- is NOT- a fix for any vehicle issue

Where is the reset button forcheck engin on 1998 dodge dakote

There is no reset button for OBD Faults & check lights
You use a code reader or professional scan tool to clear
MIL Lamps on you dash. Doing so without writing down the codes
will not allow you to diagnose & make the repair needed.
If you have a check engine light on your dash you check for
codes
Use the codes to diagnose the system with a fault & make proper
repair
You know check lights & codes have been on all vehicles
for 30 years,so you need to study up. Google OBD2 System

How to reset service light (picture of a engine ) on dash of 2000 "y" avensis verso

You have to have the computer scanned to check for fault codes . When you cancel the codes with the scanner it resets the check engine light. If you don't correct the fault the light will come on again.

A bad sensor is not the best guess. There are dozens of possible faults that turn on the check engine light, some are minor, some are major. Unfortunately some problems will cause the light to stay on until reset.

Here's the solution:
A fault code reader would be a huge help in diagnosing your problem.
It plugs in under left side dash and gives specific failure codes (this is what mechanics use).
You can buy an OBD-II
fault reader online for $79.95 which reads all cars from 1996 on.
It will also reset faults or engine trouble lights so you can see if they re-occur.
You'll save the cost the first time you use this handy device.

1996 ford taurus GL

The air bag module monitors all of the electrical circuits of the air bag system. If it detects a fault in any of these circuits, it will cause the air bag light to come on. If it's flashing, count the number of flashes between pauses, this should be the diagnostic code the module is telling you what is wrong with the airbag system (or you can use a scan tool) The only way to keep the light off (besides removing it from dash) is to repair the fault, you can clear the code with the scantool, but it will come right back on if it still sees the fault.
