I am wondering what is absolutely necessary in terms of maintenance on 2007 mdx at 60000 miles.

There is not much maintinace on these, the trany oil doesnt and should not be touched maybe at 100,000 miles, at 60,000, rotate tires, change oil, check and replace air filter if needed, change cabin filter, and the rest is checking fluids, brakes etc, theres not much the most necessary thing is the oil change and rotate tires, i know the dealer charges alot for nothing, youcan look in the manually in the rear it shows you the services, or just google the year make and model and maintinance required. and it will also show you, good luck hope this is helpful.

Cylinder 3 misses and has carbon biuld up on plug also looks to have oil on the plug, smell like oil is burning , smokes alot out of tail pipe, oil consumtion is a qt, per 300 miles and it looks like oil is...

Geez!

U got a bad piston rings! U have to pull down the PiSTON to replace the PiSTON RiNGS, oil is getting in ur combustion!

Or

Check also the valve guide oil seal, hope that is the faulty one! 'Cause replacing PiSTON RiNGS will cost a LOT!

Check on that first, Oil in ur air filter means a BLOW BACK gas from ur combustion is pushing the oil into the air filter!

BLOW BACK is a residual combustion air that should have been burned or gone thru the exhaust, but w/ poor seal of ur piston ring, it goes into ur CRANK CASE and into ur EGR system w/ excess oil!

Hope that explains everything!

2001 hyundai transmission seems to buck as if almost staling and slips when excellerating from a stop

YOUR TRANS NEEDS A FILTER AND OIL CHANGE YOU CAN DO IT YOUR SELF JUST BUY A FILTER KIT REMOVE THE PAN AND DROP THE OIL UNDOO THE BOLTS AT THE REAR OF THE PAN AND SLOWLEY MOVE FORWARD THAT WAY THE OIL WILL RUN OUT OF THE BACK OF THE PAN MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A LARGE FLAT CONTAINER TO CATCH THE OIL
CHANGE THE FILTER AND RE FIT THE PAN YOUR TRANS SHOULD TAKE ABOUT 3.5 L OF OIL
SYNTHETIC TRANS OIL IS MORE EXPENSIVE BUT IT WORKS ALOT BETTER THAN STANDARD OIL

Repeat bad o2 sensors, oil burning, engine cuts in clutch

You may have a blown heads. Try by replacing the oil pressure sensor located in the rear of the engine. Second clean the throttle body by taking off the hoses. Get the cleaner from the auto parts store. Clean throttle body, air intakes, air filter, new oil filter, and have your feul injectors services. Did you check under the car for oil leaks? Try placing a white sheet under the car to see if you have a bad oil spill. Make sure all harness wires are not shorting out. Alot of wires are placed close to heat sources and could melt them. Yoyu just have to replace the melted section and reroute the wiring........runjoe
