I agree with the oil pump. Drop the pan and replace it. Just because you had a slow roll that would not effect oil pressure. Make sure you torque the pan to specs, very inportant.
2 things come to mind, first check and clean all battery and starter connections. second, maybe you have something draining the battery. next time it rolls slow, put on a battery charger and see what happens. also, even though it is a new battery, it still could have a weak cell.
My 2004 Silverado is displaying a similar issue - but it grinds loudly on either a sharp left or right turn at slow speed - it feels like it is winding itself up terribly then releasing that energy in burst as it skips & hops along. If you shut the truck off in this position, then try to restart it, it will lurch forward a good foot as soon as you turn the key. I have no idea what the problem is
Hi, This looks like the Pawl in the gearbox has been broken/damaged or even left out when the box was overhauled. It lock the gearbox whilst in park so acting like a brake. It could have occurred if someone put the vehicle in park whilst still moving. Hope this helps? Press the Blue button please to appraise My FREE! Effort. Thank You! Paul 'W' U.K.
