I think I have a vacuum modulator problem on my 95 z28!!

A vacuum modulator problem can cause various issues in your 1995 Chevrolet Camaro Z28, such as harsh shifting, delayed shifting, or transmission slipping. If you suspect that you have a vacuum modulator problem, you should check the vacuum modulator and its related components for any signs of damage or wear.
The vacuum modulator is located on the transmission and is usually connected to a vacuum line. You should inspect the vacuum line and the modulator for any cracks, leaks, or damage that may cause the vacuum pressure to fluctuate.
If you find any issues with the vacuum modulator or its related components, you should replace them. It is also recommended that you check the transmission fluid level and condition, as low or dirty fluid can also cause shifting problems. If the problem persists after replacing the vacuum modulator, you may need to have your transmission inspected by a professional mechanic.

I have a 95 Chevy K 2500 and I have a vacuum line coming from the transfer from the engine to the transmission and don't know what it's for.

4X4? it comes from the engine to a metal line mounted to the frame , passenger side. That line goes back to the transmission mount that another is connected to. that hose goes to the transfer case solenoid plug.

87 buick century won't shift out of first

The first thing is to check the transmission fluid level, then check the vacuum modulator located out on the side of the transmission, and be certain that the vacuum line is connected to the vacuum modulator, and that the vacuum line also has no leaks and it is connected to an intake manifold vacuum source. If you remove the vacuum line from the vacuum modulator and if there is any transmission fluid is in the vacuum line then the vacuum modulator is faulty and it will need to be replaced.

I have a 95 jinny push button 4 wheel drive when you push the button i hear it doing something but the 4 wheel drive is not working

it could be the actuator is not engaging into the transmission .....also check your fuse for the 4wd on the drivers side dash

it also runs on vacuum if the line is cracked or dry rotted it will case it to malfunction sd well it may be the switch itself ...with a bit of investigating you may find an easy fix but it gets complicated as a vacuum and a cable under the battery tray allows it to endage into 4wd if there is a rip or a tare it will also contribute as well the vacuum line runs close to the engine leading up to the transmission could be the sensor silonoid on top of the actuator ...i would suggest possibly a Chilton's Manuel for in depth " diagrams for a better idea as to how and where everything is hooked and located into position
