Deb, all 1985 Chevy Blazers were shipped with a sticker in the engine compartment, which includes a vacuum routing diagram, spark plug gap specification, and firing order. Look around the engine compartment and I'll wager it's still there.
Yes, it's involved though. You would have to use the PCM (or ECM), and wiring harness's for both the engine and transmission. You would have to get wiring diagrams for both vehicles (eautorepair.net $29 year). Then you would have to look over each wiring diagram and interface the newer wiring diagram to the older vehicle. Not impossible but requires a knowledgeable mechanic.
Probably easier and cheaper to get a reman short block and overhaul or replace your 1995 transmission.
It will have a diagram right above the fan blades to show you how it needs to be ran. Just need to release some pressure off the belt tensioner to make it all fit
there are many vacuum hoses,i dont know if this is a s10 or full size blazer, heres a diagram for the s 10 blazer with the 4.3 if this is not your engine let me know, but heres a diagram, just look over all the lines, hope this helps.
if its the transmission dipstick you are looking for. Its on the passenger side of the engine at the rear of the engine compartment.........on a 96 it should be red and flip up and then pull it out to remove it.........as for filling you need a funnel with a very small hole at the end and the fluid goes in the hole the dipstick comes out of...........sorry no diagram though.....:( hope this helps!
