How do i unlock child lock on 1996 camry

Could be Child safety lock help prevent the rear doors from being opened accidentally. The child safety lock levers are located on the edge of the rear doors.

Child lock switch controls are on the driver side door. If you use this controlling switch to unlock the doors and all doors open except for one door. It might be the switch on the driver side door or broken wiring in that switch leading to the door that does not open. You need a mechanics manual to trace the switch or wiring. Your best bet is to take it to a mechanic or a body shop if you find this difficult to do.

To unlock the child lock, simply open the rear doors and look on the side of door for a small switch. Simply flip the switch and the child lock should unlock.

Child Locks will stop anyone on the inside of the car from opening the door. If the child lock is on then the door can only be opened from the outside of the car. Of course the main door lock must be off just as any door must be unlocked to be opened from the outside.

Now if you do not want the child door lock to be on then you must first open the door from the outside with the main lock open or unlocked. Look at the space that is covered when the door is closed. There you will see the lever that turns the child lock on or off. Simply move it to the off position.

open the back door,on the door close to the lock you will see the black plastic round thing. that is the child safety lock, you can turn that left or right for. ( lock or unlock) hope this can help.

if you can here relays when unlocking/locking check for power at door lock actuators inside doors, if you have power on lock/unlock and good earth from connector actuators are faulty.
if no power on test light when operating check output from central door lock module while operating, none coming out of module then it might need replacing.
check 30Amp power fuse for main relay under bonnet (which goes to pin 8 white/blue on module)and 10Amp gauge fuse in cab(pin 1 blue/red on module),pin 15 is also power when relay is on(red/blue) with test light, and module/ actuators.
check outputs from module pin 3 & 4
blue/red
blue/black
that go to door locks

Please help me ! i can't find "child lock" button on the rear door of Bently continential flying spur ! Now i can't open rear door from inside car :( ! Anybody know ? help me plzzzz ! thanks alot !
