SOURCE: LOCATION OF LIGHTER FUSE FOR 1996 JEEP GRAND

If you have the owner's manual look up fuses in the index, good illustration. If you don't, I do. It shows a relay and a 15 amp fuse. Look at the passenger kick panel, pull the cover, and it is #2 fuse (second from the top on the left) The see the relay you may have to pull the panel (two screws and a clip) the relay is the third cavity down, third row from the firewal side.
Let me know if this works for you?

Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel CRD 2.7. Where is the alarm fuse on it please?

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to model category.

The security alarm and engine immobilizer are functions of the Body Control Module (BCM) and the ECM. You can't just pull fuses. When the battery goes completely flat, or is disconnected, you just need to reset the Security System which is done via the Remote Fob.

How disable the security systems control 1997 Jeep grand cherokee sport

Hi, the Jeep Grand Cherokee 1997 has a security system called VTSS (Vehicle Theft Security System). The VTSS cannot be disabled as it comes factory installed. What you can do is prevent the VTSS alarm from arming. If you prevent it from arming, you will void it activating. One of the VTSS funcions is to also prevent the engine from starting when the alarm is armed. To disarm the alarm do this. Locate a line colored Violet with a black trace in the Body control module connector. In a suitable place of that line, insert a needle and using a jumper wire touch that needle with an extreme while the other extreme is touching ground. This will disarm the VTSS alarm. When the VTSS is disarmed, the engine will start every time you need it to.

2001 Grand Jeep Cherokee theft alarm fuse location is where. I have no manual

It seems like the wireless control module has failed. To fix it, halt the battery power by removing the negative terminal to disable the car alarm.
The fuse is located in the fuse box inside, under the dash on the driver's side-pry open the box and remove it.

Will not start

Try quickly turning the ignition twice and hold on the second. Also you can locate the fuse for the alarm and just remove it.
