there was a recall issued that said the ECM needed to be reflashed.
Contact a dealership service writer and have the VIN number handy. They will check to see if the recall work was ever done on your vehicle.
Although that recall was for the stability control, it's a possibility
A constantly blinking check engine light means you have a misfiring engine that is bad enough to cause your catalytic converter to go bad! Take it to the shop... probably means ignition parts and the upper manifold has to come off... and that's no fun! Good luck.
Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop . Service 4X4 light's blinking . DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's stored in the 4X4 control module.
If they are blinking I believe it means that there are fault codes present in the pcm. You need to get the computer scaned to see if there are an codes present. If you live near an Autozone or Checker autoparts they can scan it for free.
