I have a 2006 Ve Passat sedan and I'm looking for how to set the seats in memory?

A VW dealership should be able to get you one!

Sounds like either there is a lock button that was accidentally pushed or there was a wire connector that was accidentally unplugged by the detailist probably under the set!

look in your car manual under the fuses and it will tell you where in the car it is

You will need a scan tool to retreive the codes and turn off the MIL (malfunction indicator light). Cheaper scan tools are available on the aftermarket to perform this function. Will save a ton of money over going to the dealer.

Try looking under the rear passenger seat, grip rear seat and give it a sharp tug, slide seat forward.

Here is the firing orders for the two possible engines you might have...

adjust seat and steering to comfortable position press set and 1 on drivers door,position will be put into memory. put seat and steering into position that it is easy to get out of car, press exit 1 and the exit position will be in memory. do same procedure for driver2.

If there is an "M" button you have to hold down the "M" button with # 1 together at the same time, and the same for the other side.

My car (Acura 3.5RL) has memory seats. What I do is set the seats and side view mirrors up the way I like, then press the driver #1 button and hold it until I hear a beep.
