My 2009 nissan pulsar radio is flashing err. The code was entered incorrectly. How dip i reset to enter correct code?

When you disconnect your battery or remove the fuse and then reconnect itagain, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your carradio.
The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. Ifyou do not have this code you need to go to your vehicle manufacrurers service centre andget them to enter this code for you.

Call the dealership with the serial number and vin number on the car They will give you the code

You may have to leave your key on the on the position one for 2 hours. Then it should reset itself so you can enter the code.

if you do not have the number in you owners manual then you will need to call the dealer with the VIN and they will help you with the steps.

If the radio display reads "code" then simply use theradio preset buttons, enter the code in the correct order, and the radio will unlock. If, however, the radio reads "Err" or "Code Err" It's likely that someone has made several attempts to unlock the radio using incorrect codes. In that case you will need to disconnect and reconnect the negative battery cable. This will reset the radio and allow you to enter your code. The code they gave me was 2246, but I had to add an 1 at the end of it to get it to work, so the end of it was 24461. Yours will be different.

Here's an easier way. Purchase a 9 volt battery powered radio / computer MEMORY RETAINER. Plug into your cigarette lighter/power socket SECURELY. AFTER replaceing the battery, remove 9 volt poer feed, and BINGO. Radio stations memory, clock will all RETAIN. their memory. Hope this helps

err-3 means you have entered incorrect anti-theft radio code more that three times.If you do not have radio code you can most of the time find the code card tucked away in the owners manual pouch.(looks like a bussiness card)If you are unable to find card you would have to pull radio from dash and retrive stereo serial number,which is on bottom side of radio.once you have s/n you can take s/n to any acura dealership(has to be a dealer)and they can get radio code for that stereo through Honda Corp.once you have correct radio code you will need to first unplug radio,or disconnect battery to reset radio memory,then type in radio code.again if entered incorrectly 3x ,radio would need to be reset again too clear error codes.good luck!

WRONG! Leave the radio on for 1 hour using the key and accessories to reset then enter the pin. You get the pin from nissan customer service in your area but you need to supply your vin/chassis number.

To enter the pin you press buttons 1-4 corresponding to the number of the pin eg. pin is 1023, press button 1 once, 2 ten times, 3 two times, 4 three times

turn key to <acc> turn radio will blink err. leave on for at least half hour.err will be replaced by enter code.
