It could be a faulty switch it won't be a blown fuse or wiring issue (its too protected). Most likely it is a faulty tilt motor in the underside of the seat frame. There are 3 seperate motors, and I have replaced all three at different times.

I had the same problem, the c and s class seem to have the issue with the power seat and steering wheel adjustments. On my 04 it was two bare wires under the drivers seat that were touching and blowing the fuse (fyi)
