The indercater works when i turn right not left it is a a160 cdi elegance year 1953

Turn the ignition key to position 2, and press the button twice right away/immediately.
Then turn the ignition off, press and hold the button, then turn the igniton back to position 2, wait, indicator resets with a beep - now release the button and all done.
