Are you checking the level in the reservoir or radiator itself and are you checking when hot or cold the{ reservoir } dont open a radiator when hot the cooling system will pull in coolant from reservoir if low and push back extra when cool --if the fluid levels are correct than need to check sensor it could be going bad and or have corrosion /debris on it

Coolant level keeps getting very low?

Check the upper intake gasket, you may have a leaking gasket. Check the bottom of water pump and see if it is leaking, if so pump needs replaced. The seal within the water pump sometimes goes bad and leaks out seep hole on water pump bottom. Make these checks with engine off!!! God-Bless!

Hi I've got a moretti elite model and it's not blowing cold air it's second hand and a red light I'd on. It's says water full I don't know anything about them

A little square light with waves on it? It is the low coolant light. Low coolant will cause no heat in the vehicle.

Coolant light keeps coming on

I wouldnt worry. Maybe a level indicator thinks it is being depleted. Give it a while. If it becomes more frequent or your engine overheats check coolant levels in reservoir. Most people will tell you it is common to have an empty reservoir, but not i. Check for signs of leaks in your driveway and fluid on water pump. If those are fine keep in mind coolant will still leak from your head gasket! There are a million ways for your coolant system to go wrong and little time to prevent overheating. Watch temp gauge and low coolant display staying on for elongated periods. :)

My oldsmobile aurora 1996 keeps saying low coolant level and is leaking.

It's the upper and lower manifold gaskets, take it to a service shop and get them to replace your manifold gaskets, it's not the water pump

The water light keeps coming on, but it is blue so does that mean the car just inst warmed up yet or is something wrong with my car?

The blue light indicates the engine is not up to operating temperature. It will go out once the engine is up to operating temperature. If it is yellow/red the car is overheating. If it is flashing the coolant is low.

2003 Volkswagon beetle temp light is red. (Usually starts out blue and then goes out when the engine warms up.)

A red light indicator may signify a hotter temperature, but may not necessarily indicate an overheating condition. A couple things can lead to this condition - low fluid level (check the fluid resevoir), the wrong coolant being used previously, a weak or failing water pump, a plugged or partially plugged coolant radiator, a bad fan, or a bad thermostat. I'd personally check the coolant first, usually needs to be replaced at about 100,000 miles or so, then check to see if you have any leaks if the fluid level is depressed. Then allow the car to operate from a cold start in the drive while observing the performance under the hood and compare it to the dummy light.

Hope this helps.

VW Passsat - 98 -

ABS and coolant are unrelated unless there is a problem with the ECM (engine control module) or instrument panel. Is the red coolant warning sign for coolant level or temperature?

With ABS if there is any failure with any brake electronic component (sensor, motor, or fluid level etc) the ABS will shut down completely and flash the light. If the light is on or flashing the ABS is non functioning.

I need better information on the coolant and ABS to give better information.
