The only way is to add it to the coolant tank because that's where the cap is. I had a 2003 and that is how it was
Did you have a leak ? Fix it first before adding coolant .
Are you needing to add a little antifreeze or a lot ?
Does it have a coolant recovery tank ?
Does it have a traditional radiator cap ?
To add a small to medium amount of antifreeze , add it to the coolant recovery tank .
Larger amounts , allow the engine to go cold , remove the radiator cap & fill . Start the car and allow it to warm up until the thermostat is open & both radiator hoses are warm / hot .
Air will usually burp from the cooling system & the coolant level will drop . Add more coolant until the radiator is full . Replace the radiator cap .
Add coolant to the reservoir until it is filled to the COLD mark .
God bless

Open the container of antifreeze. Using a separate EMPTY gallon-size container, pour out HALF of the contents into the empty container, making sure not to spill any. Now, FILL the newly filled container with tap water. Fill the rest of the antifreeze with water, also. Now, you are ready to add antifreeze to your vehicle! Simply locate the radiator cap, (Don't touch it if it's hot!!) and unscrew it. Pour the desired amount of your mixed antifreeze into the radiator. Remember not to do this without proper knowledge!

The knock sensor is threaded into the block of the engine, just below where the cylinder head sits. You will need to remove the intake plenum (upper and lower) to access this part.

Check fuses, and check to ensure the AC compressor is running while the engine runs!
SOURCE: 2002 Dodge Intrepid ES shift selector is stiff.
You have a shift cable. This cable may be getting a
little worn. One way to check it is, disconnect the
cable at the transmission and see if it is still stiff.
Look under the hood, just to the right of the brake
booster. You will see 2 cables that come through
the firewall, one is the throttle cable, it will go to the
right towards the center of the engine. The other is
the shift cable, it will go down to the transmission
linkage. Disconnect the cable there and see if it
shifts any easier. If not, replace the cable.
Hope this helps. Good luck.
