How many miles has this car traveled ? I have never heard of a front thrust rod bushing (could be a termaolgy thing)..... I would be getting a second opinion on this !
I do not know if they will interchange; however, the BMW trunk lid part number changed in March 2005 according to www.realoem.com. You try a part for part comparison. There are more parts to the 750LI trunk.
