My battery keeps going flat

have the system checked for a draw as this will cause the battery to go flat. you don`t say but have you had the charging system checked.

Check alternator voltage output, might be low. obd2 scanner

Could be your alternator is bad,belt is loose,Autozone will test for free,also check the fusible link at positive battery cable,could be burnt or melted.,

battery may be flat. You can check that with a multimeter.

Next check the alternator. Faulty alternator leads to uncharged battery.

you have a battery drain somewhere, if you can use a multimeter disconnect the battery and hook it up in line set up as a ammeter. make sure nothing is on in the car and it will tell you how much power is nbeing drawn. start by pulling fuses and relays out to figure out what circuit the drain os on. eg, glove box light, amp wiring. ect

Check all the battery cables at both ends including any to the starter solenoid to be sure they are clean and tight. Other than that you may have a bad wire somewhere shorting out and causing the drain on the battery.

Interior light or inside hood light. Sometimes an alternator can short inside and drain a battery. A pinched wire touching a ground.

your new alternator is defective ,disconnect the cables to the alternator and see if the battery goes flat then

Sounds like you have a power drain, have you installed any new electrical items recently, lift off your Neg batt connection, as you touch it back, is there a spark, if so,this shows a power drain somewhere. Does your battery go flat when car left to stand, or does it go flat regardless of if you run the engine?

hi for a battery to go flat means your altenator isn't doing its job in charging it. all cars are different but it has to charge at a certain rate in order to keep it going. if the charge rate is very low then yes the battery wont last. if alternator is ok then possibly a wirring fault somewhere.
