This part is related to the emission system and it is the air that is pumped into the exhaust to burn up hydrocarbons when the engine is cold, There is be a fairly large hose going to a valve that plugs into the exhaust of bank two of the engine cylinders it may be defective.

This is a potentially VERY expensive problem.

What the P2445 code means

The secondary air injection system is designed to pump outside air into the exhaust in order to help reduce harmful emissions. This trouble code indicates that the powertrain control module has detected a malfunction with this system on the bank 1 side of the engine.

What are the causes of the P2445 code?

The most common cause of this trouble code is a failed air injection pump. The air injection pump is designed with a check valve inside which only allows air to flow in one direction, preventing exhaust gases from escaping through the air pump and only allowing air to enter. When this check valve fails, moisture is able to get inside the air pump. During the winter months this moisture can freeze, causing the air pump to seize up and possibly break. Other possible causes of this issue would include damaged wiring or connectors associated with the air pump, blown fuses, or a broken serpentine belt

Dtc 1442 and 1446

The code actually has another character in front of it, most likely a P (Powertrain) code as they're most common, although it could also be a B (Body) or C (Chassis) code. So it's likely P1442 and it's description is Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected. That code is specific to Toyota vehicles, although it seems nearly identical to the generic code P0442. This error pertains to the emissions system in the car. You now have the choice of either taking the car to a qualified technician or you can try a few troubleshooting steps yourself. If you're not mechanically inclined, I would recommend you change the gas cap to a brand new Toyota one (not a cheap aftermarket one), reset the code and see if it comes back.
