My jeep is heating up to about 235-240 after about 10 minutes of driving with A/C on. It usally takes about 30 minutes or more to heat up without the A/C on. I have replaced the fan clutch and thermostat because mechanic said they were bad. Problem not fixed. I replaced the radiator cap and problem not fixed. One mechanic told me I have a clogged radiator and another told me to replace the fan relay. He said the fan was staying on low and kicking into high. This is why My a/c is not as cold as it used to be. Does any of this make sense? I started the jeep and the fan did not kick on so I started the A/C and the fan kicked on. when I turn off the jeep the fan keeps spinning for about 30 sec. until it stops. Is it supposed to do that? The other fan (connected to the serpentine pullies) stops a lot sooner. Should either fan spin when engine is off? What is weird is the car will be about 230-235 and I will shut it off for about 5-10 minutes and then start it up and it will cool back down to 215 fairly quickly for a while then heat right back up again. Anyone have any suggestions? (FYI Water Pump was replaced last summer.)

Thermostat was the right start. The heat works by using heated coolant and pumping it through a heater core. If you take the jeep to a local garage to have the heater core flushed this should fix the problem.

13 camry takes almost 20 miles to heat up below 20 degrees. it is not the stat.If you drive 5 miles let it sit for 30 minutes it will get good heat from the heater. continuous driving 20 miles it gets

Try back flushing system with cooling system cleaner.

Just replaced the thermostat and now there is no heat inside the cabin ?

Possible trapped air pocket. Set to full heat position, lowest fan speed, remove rad. cap, start engine and let idle for 10 minutes, then hold gas pedal at 1500rpm for two minutes then let idle for two minutes. Shut engine off , let cool for 30 minutes. Top up coolant level and reinstall cap. Drive vehicle, should get heat now.

The engine in this car is electronically controlled and a problem like this would leave a fault code in the memory of the computer control module, to retrieve this code or codes you need the system scanned with a special tool, this is called an "OBD 2" fault code test.

It sounds like a bad starter solenoid/starter, because a starter sits so close to a engine and exhaust that over the years the heat starts breaking down the components and when you drive your Jeep the starter solenoid gets "heat soaked" so when you've been driving your Jeep around for awhile and then turn it off the solenoid is "heat soaked", it needs to cool off before it will engage the starter again. Sometimes it can take up to a few hours to work again. Some people hit the starter w(the engine off) with a hammer to try to free it up.

The solution is to replace the starter with a new one and your Jeep will start up every time. Most starters come with a new solenoid already attached so it's best to replace them both.

the very 1st thing u do is have the system tested for trouble codes, the most common cause of this problem is the crank sensor.

honestly with as little of information it will be hard to say what the problem is, check battery connections and starter solenoid for good connections first

Sounds like a partially obstructed radiator, either external, leaves between a/c condenser and radiator, or internal...some cores plugged ...radiators are actually too small for engine in the first place, making them what I consider marginal even when new. A good clue to an internal blockage is if the radiator cannot be filled quickly...a really bad one requires coolant to be literally dribbled in when filling, but likely yours isnt that bad yet. Everything else you mentioned seems normal
