Radio is on , but i dont have sound - 2002 Audi TT

Hi, here is a simple test. Turn on your radio next turn the balance to one side, see if you notice a better full sound. Turn the balance back to center, if your sound has a hollow sound, your speakers are out of phase. Have your installer check that. Hope that helps.

How can it work fine and have no sound??

It sounds to me like you may have a bare wire touching metal somewhere. This can blow fuses also.

do you have sound? sounds like you cooked msomething...need more info..

Have you checked the fuses? Shorting it may have blown the fuse. Otherwise it could of fried the radio

sounds like the speaker drivers in the radio is faulty. Radio could be pulled and sent out to be checked by a quailified repair facility.

I have the same problem. Seems when it is dry outside, the radio works pretty good but when the humidity is up, speakers dont work and sounds like treble in the other speakers.
I am to the point as to put a aftermaket radio in the truck.

check to see if the left and right channels r working i dont meen turning dial left and right you hear sound out of lft and rt also ballance is centred

Sounds like you or the punks that stole your radio crossed a wire and caused a short. Check your fuses
