2000 toyota solara turn signals and hazards are not working. I changed the fuses and multifunction switch. what am I missing

CARS ARE COMPLEX, FOR SURE 2007 UP. ARE.
ELECTRICS ARE FOR SURE,
WHAT NOT TOLD YOU IS WHAT ALL WORKS AND DOES NOT
FULLY AND BRIEF. LIKE:
DOES CAR START ,RUN AND DRIVE OK DAY /NIGHT.???????????
SO THE CLUSTER IS DEAD (IP CLUSTER) WELL MOST TIMES THAT IS A 20CENT FUSE BLOWN WHY NOT TEST ALL FUSES FIRST.
GAUGES ARE DEAD, WARNING LAMPS TOO?
IS THE KEY ON CHARGE LAMP DEAD? IF YES FUSE IS BLOWN
DOES ANY THING ELSE IN THE CLUSTER FAIL>? OR WORK?
TURN SIGS DEAD ,LEFT AND RIGHT FRONT AND REAR DEAD OR JUST THE SILLY CUSTER TURNS DEAD, DID YOU LOOK OUTSIDE CAR FOR ALL TURNS DEAD??????????????????
HAZARD WORK OR ARE STUCK ON NOT BLINKING? ??????
SOLARA IS CHEAP CAMRY
I SCAN THE PCM FIRST OR CHECK ALL FUSES. TOSS COIN AND D IT.?
THERE ARE AT ;LEAST 4 FUSES THAT POWER THE CLUSTER.

MY GUESS IS FUSES ARE BLOWN.
I AM READING THE SERVICE MANUAL TO YOU NOW,
AFTER ALL ELECTRICS ARE COMPLEX, AND GUESSING FAILS
NOW TURNS DEAD
FUSE GAUGE1 , POWER TURNS BRAIN
AS DOES FUSE HAZ.

IF FUSE BLOWS AGAIN ASK FOR THE 2ND LONG LONG STORY OF TESTS, 10AMP FUSE NEVER LOWER OR HIGHER AMPS ALLOWED.

Do the hazard lamps work? Did you check the turn fuse? Not only check the fuse, check the fuse circuit for voltage, the fuse circuit goes hot when you turn on the key. Your owners manual should tell you which fuse does what.

None of your turn signals work? Could be the flasher or multifunction switch. On the proper wire color you could check voltage to and from steering column for turn signals. If voltage going in but not coming out for turn signals, the problem is in the steering column, either the wiring or multifunction switch.

Sounds like your multifunction control switch needs replaced. Its location is on your steering colum.

Fast clicking is caused by a higher than normal current being applied. Normally a short or a aftermarket relay that requires less current to switch. Sounds like the entire multifunction switch is bad.

This sounds like a bad or intermittent flasher relay. The Hazzards actually use a different circuit.

The most likely problem, if both circuits are out is the flasher unit. You can locate it behind the drivers kick panel close to the top.

Check you turn signal switch the hazard switches like to malfunction and they are apart of on unit

Change out the flasher.

this car has a brake light switch on the pedal check for power in and out. if in and not out change switch. also I believe their is a relay under the hood . then check to see if the multifunction and hazard switch control brake lights i cant remember if they do like gm's but i am also almost sure they do the multifunction is your turn signal wiper arm that goes into steering wheel . after you check the brake switch and relay have some one jiggle the hazard and multi while pressing the brakes see if they come on. you can call ford and ask them about the multi and hazard .

if the Hazard does not work as well i would start there and then move on to the flasher relay under the steering column
