I started my Saturn Vue up and noticed that all gauges were at zero. Backlights and all warning lights come on, but no gas, temp, speedo or tach dont move. and no odometer reading. What could cause this?

i'd change the engine temperature sender unit , or just disconnect it for a while and see if the gauge symptoms disappear , if they do then change the temp sender unit,if the symptoms remain i'd say get the OBD codes read as may have a faulty dash component
Restriction in the exhaust can cause this. Test with a vacuum gauge normal 60 mph readings around 14-18 hg. in depending on throttle position once power loss starts if reading goes to zero restriction is present. then use of a infra-red thermal heat gun you can locate the restriction. hot to cold at plugged stop.
check out rockauto.com i have found most all parts for my saturn vue 04 v6 3.5l fi. go to the parts catalog and select ur year, make, model, and engine.
they are full of it, u should show oil pressure as soon as the engine starts, this may be a sticky guage or a sender but that advice they gave u is bull, that is for sure, I am a GM technician.
