2002 cadillac sts my touchscreen radio is not working and it won't shut off unless I pull the fuse. It is saying cannot load system software. Disk type incorrect. Please insert correct system disk.

I think that you have a failed touch screen unit. Pull it out and send it in for repair. Check the web there are many online repair sites that can do the needed repair.

yes and no fuse can be bad. if it has back up cam connected to it the back up cam can shut it down pull all 4 fuzes at same time . clock fuze, land nav fuze, radio fuze and backup cam. in my caprice i have to pull clock, radio, and backup cam at same time to reset. clock fuze holds memory for all
there is a recall on the GM light system so check it out . The hazard light switch basically just connects both side indicators together. For a short term fix see if you can pull the connector of the back of the switch.
The Radio has a hot feed directly from fuse #25 in under left side dash
near kick panel fuse box .. also check fuses #14 and #9 .. it is not
controlled by any computer module, it could be a burnt out wire ?
The interior lights and door locks/alarm are controlled by the ETAC
module .. which also gets its hot feed from fuse # 25 .. but the ETAC
module controls lots of other devices including Wiper/defogger/fog
light/door warning switch/chime bells etc. etc. and these are working ?

2005 STS4 In the center console there are audio video jacks. Go to radio shack and grab a cable with audio/video one side headphone the other. Plug into your iPod and put the touchscreen setting on AUX. It's on the screen getting to bluetooth
Why did you pull them out? I suspect that the right one did not get seated properly or there is corrosion in the connection - is the housing watertight? I don't think it's a relay since neither would work. Could be a bad ground connection on that side.
