go to rock auto .com and look up your vehicle then go to exhaust and emissions and pictures of your vapor canister / vent solenoid /purge valve are there and follow your lines from the parts all the way to the vapor canister which maybe inside the fender no engine was given but this should help you

First let me tell you that the canister purge valve is covered under warranty for 5years 60,000 miles ! Anyway it is located to the rear of the cylinder head above the block/trans mounting area

The canister purge valve is on the intake manifold . The vent valve is under the vehicle near the fuel tank .
The vent valves opens and sends exess gas fumes to the purge valve witch in turn opens when the engine is running faster and can burn this excess fuel Its all about emissitions
