SOURCE: 2001 Sienna rear window defogger doesn't work

There are 3 fuses that control the rear defogger, and 1 relay

The fuses are: 10 amp HEATER, 10 amp MIRROR-HEATER; under the dash
The 30 amp DEF fuse is in the fuse box under the hood
The relay is the DEFOGGER relay, which is on the back side of the fuse panel under the dash

Also, check for a loose wire on the defroster grid (on the back glass), this is the most common problem.

SOURCE: 1998 toyota corolla dash and shifter lights out fuse and relay good

sounds like you have a bad panel dimmer control. try turning the control from bright to dim very fast a few times then slowly, do this in a dark area or at night with the headlights on, you should see a flicker of light occasionally. If you don't see any light then it could be either the headlight switch or the dimmer control, if you DO see any light, then it's your dimmer

2007 Hyundai Veracruz Hatch won't open.

gee check fuses first?
all electric latches are solenoids and can go weak or fail or die. all can.
or jam
or wires to it bad, or connectors, or the fuse is blown.
assumes all else on car works
why not scan the PCM first, USA car? connect OBD2 scan tool
and see DTC errors? related to body parts failing or cars battery or fuses errors. or BCM errors. Or comm failures.
not scanning any modern car invites a thin wallet .

2007 HHR rear hatch will not unlock

Do you know how to test automotive electrical circuits ? Viewing wiring diagrams an using a DMM - digital multi-meter . Looking at a wiring diagram I see a relay ,L/GATE RELSE relay - # 18 underhood fuse box . It's controlled by the BCM - body contol module . The liftgate release switch is a input to the BCM . Free wiring diagrams here http://www.bbbind.com/free-tsb Enter vehicle info. year , make , model an engine size. Under system click on body & accessories ,then under subsystem click on tailgate release . Click the search button then the first blue link.

Pressing the Liftgate Release Switch closes a contact providing a ground for the Liftgate Release Switch Signal circuit. The BCM will detect the voltage drop and command voltage to be supplied to the Liftgate Release Relay Control circuit thus energizing the LIFTGATE RELEASE Relay which provides voltage to the Release Actuator releasing the liftgate.

Do you know what a DTC - diagnostic trouble code is ?
DTC B3265 01: Hatch Release Output Circuit Short to Battery
DTC B3265 06: Hatch Release Output Circuit Short to Ground or Open

B3265 01
This DTC will set when the BCM detects a short to battery in the liftgate release relay control circuit.
B3265 06
This DTC will set when the BCM detects an open or short to ground in the liftgate release relay control circuit.

2001 Chevy Blazer - I pushed the rear hatch button to open it. Now the rear hatch won't open at all. I also can't lock my doors while inside since I pushed the rear hatch button.

sounds like something may be shorted in your rear hatch switch and when you pushed the button to open it you may have blown a fuse. I would check your fuse and make sure they are all still good. I would also try to look inside the rear hatch and check the wires and see if there is something wrong with one of them.

Rear hatch wont open, with push button,or remote on my 2007 D0dge Durago

It sounds like a relay or interlock is bad. Get close to the hatch and listen for a click sound while pushing the remote button. If you don't hear anything, it will be the relay under the dash or the wire has disconnected from the interlock.

My horn is not working at all on my 2005 prius??? What to do??

There is a 10 amp horn fuse either in your cabin fuse box or the engine compartment fuse box. If it is not the fuse, you will need to troubleshoot to find the cause. First, find the horn relay (usually in the engine compartment relay box) and pull it out. Have someone hold the horn button down while you push the relay back into it's socket. The relay should click as you push it in. If it clicks, your problem is probably in the wiring to the horns. You'll have to trace the wires from the horns to the relay box to see if the connector went bad or what happened. If the relay doesn't click, you can try replacing the relay, but the problem may also be with the horn button. To troubleshoot the button, you need a 12 volt test light. You can get one for a few bucks at a parts store or WALMART auto tools isle.
Use the test light to interrogate the relay socket. Remove the relay from it's socket. connect the clip of your test light to the positive side of your battery and then probe all of the relay socket terminals while someone holds the horn button down. One of the terminals should turn the light on bright. Some of the terminals may light it dimly, but at most one will make it bright. If none makes it bright, your horn button is not working or the wire from the horn button to the relay box is cut. If you have questions, please let me know. If you want to understand the relay, see my post at http://www.fixya.com/cars/r6022358-relay_check

2005 gmc yukon back passenger doors will not unlock with key remote and rear hatch wont unlock or open

Either the relay for the locks is bad or the fuse. When you push the power lock on the inside if the doors do not unlock then I would check the fuses, both inside and under the hood. If they do work then the relay/s may be bad. You are pushing your key button twice correct?
