888 is the transmission relay is always off. 700 is because of the 888 code. You could have a couple of problems. It is electrical. Check fuses first. Pull the fuses and look at them(when in doubt, Do what I do, Pull them all). This lets you now the fuses are good and eliminates corrosion problems. After that, you need a volt/ohm meter and electrical diagrams. You could have a shorted wire( run a new one from point a to b), A bad fuse panel, or a bad ECM(engine control module). The ECM is what turns on the relay, not the TCM.

something has triggered the fail safe ,could be anything from a tail light bulb out to low brake fluid level, but i could be wrong of course and no doubt i am.europeon cars use encrypted software thats designed to be dealer only, american cars ??dont know about this but iam assuming their standard as lots of boy racer ,sunday car mechanics type tools for fault reading??here on a europeon car they tell you your not connected ??connection pins in different places and encrypted software.. makes any fault a dealer only job and lots of money, just to connect computer is around 80€ before you evan pay labour .
That is a code for an invalid skim key. If you have another skim key try it. If it does the same thing then the skim module may be bad.

There is a TSB for this issue: It is in "limp" mode. It is not unusual for the Sebring - Should be covered by Chrysler.

The overheating of the car can be due to many reasons and you need to check on each one to confirm the working of the system. Thank you for using Fixya
1. In the first place the working of the engine must be assessed. it must be smooth with a good indication that the tuning timing and the power seems good. This will confirm that the settings of the engine is good and so there is less scope that the engine seems to heat up on its own.
2. Secondly the radiator pressure cap must be tight and good, the radiator MUST not loose coolant after a run or in a few days time- since this must be a sealed system and there is no scope of water overflow or loss unless there is a leak- sometimes the leak is too microscopic as under high pressure only steam might escape and so reduce the coolant. So check for leaks while the engine is hot , specially the radiator, the hose or the fittings.
3. The working of the water pump must be good to ensure a good flow and circulation, so check for leak in the water pump, check for presence of water in the exhaust or leaking on the engine gaskets.
4.Make sure that the coolant is good and clean if not drain and refill , if there is presence of rust please have a good flushing of the radiator or else the chances are that the radiator ports can be blocked and reduce the efficiency of the cooling .
5. Finally the cooling fan, the radiator fan must be working, check the thermostat/thermistor to work accordingly with good flow, have a good water jet wash on the radiator for a clean radiator cooling fin exposure.

The car run but no shifteng and the rpm is always high I ready rebuild the transmission still no shifteng and have the same codes
The car Rev's high because the transmission not shifting correctly. The reason is when you engage transmission it puts a load on engine and if it doesn't shift the load on engine increase and makes it rev higher
