Don't worry about the torque specs ..
Most mechanics would put a socket/wrench on and get them 'really tight'

That's not the way it works. you buy a socket set. It has one set of AF Sockets and one set of Metric sockets. The one you use is the one that fits.

What torque specs do u tighten the front shock absorbers nuts to

adjust the nuts until there is tension placed on the rubbers. You will see the rubber start to slightly bulge out under the washers and that will be the correct tension

Looking for torque spec for bolts holding the rear shocks on the rear of a 2006 Dodge Sprinter 3500

Hello acadiamaine,

If the shock absorber bolt to the axle is a 14mmX1.5 it should be torqued to 110 Nm if it is a 12mmX1.5 bolt torque it to 70 Nm.

The bolt to the frame side should be torqued to 140 Nm if the axle bolt is 14mmX1.5 and 80 Nm if the axle bolt is 12mmX1.5.

GMC 2500HD tie rod end nut torque specs.

Here are the tie rod end nut torque specs:
• Lower Control Arms - (Front and Rear bolt) 129 ft-lbs x2 and (Knuckle Stud) 37 ft-lbs
• Upper Control Arms - (Front and Rear bolt) 140 ft-lbs x2 and (Knuckle Stud) 37 ft-lbs
• Inner Tie Rods - 81 ft-lbs
• Outer Tie Rods - (Knuckle Stud) Tie Rod nut 44 ft-lbs and jam nut 55 ft-lbs
• Stabilizer Links - 17 ft-lbs
