Where is the low pressure switch for the air condition system on my 1996 Saturn?

look along the steel pipes to the ac compressor ( big pipe) or on top of the accumulator ( black reservoir next to the condensor) sometimes there are both the high and low pressure switches at this junction.

I have a 2002 dodge ram 1500 4.7L engine. Air conditioning only blows cold air when vehicle is moving; warm air when idling... please help. Thanks!

Start by checking the condensor fan to make sure it is running while you have the ac on. If it is not blowing check the condensor fan motor fuse that is located in the totally integrated power module. If the fuse is bad it is most likely that the condensor fan motor is bad and is drawing too much amperage and will need to be replaced. Now I am assuming it has an electric condensor fan motor. Make sure that the condensor is free of debris, a dirty condensor will cause high discharge pressures that will cause poor or insufficient cooling at idle.

Air condition does not blow cold air unless driving. Hot air blows from vents when in idle

check if the a/c fan is blowing if it is then change ur a/c condensor

When i stop the car the air in the car get hot but when i'm moving the air runs good. What could be the problem

Have your a/c condensor fan check out, sit in back of the radiator, fan should always be on when a/c is on to reduce the freon pressure in the condensor or a/c will not get cold till air goes through the condensor while driving down the road, no air blows through at stop light because fan not working so a/c will not work right.

Mechanic said car nedds new condensor, is the condensor in the radiator ?

The condenser is part of your air conditioning system. Hot high pressure freon gas from your air conditioning compressor will run through your condenser to dissipate heat and condense into a liquid.
The condenser is not in the radiator but looks like a small version of your radiator mounted either in front of, or behind your main radiator.
If your AC works properly and doesn't leak, then you don't need a condenser.

Heater and air conditioning assembly removal

In order to remove the heater box, you'll have to disassemble the entire dash. The box will be held together with a few screws and come apart. Definitely buy a manual for you car so you can get a step by step guide. This job could get a little complicated.
