the small air valve at the box will be suspect as they tend to seize up and not move
check that the plastic air lines to the switch or box are still intact

Heater fan control arm broken. Stuck in no.4 position. Need to know how to get access to enable me to remove/repair unit.

My 06 Dodge Stratus did this same thing after I had my transmission replaced. I thought the guys at the shop did it but come to find out the actuator that controls the knobs and the turning of the fans for heat and cool air had popped off of the turning mechanism. My uncle took out the glove box so he could access the back of the heater/ac panel. There should be a round mechanism that will spin back and forth when turning the knobs from cool to hot and 1-4 for wind speed control. On top of that know are small notches that hold a white, possibly grey "hook" style device that holds the turning mechanism in place once you change the settings from hot to cold or between 1-4 of the wind speed control. The "hook" style device may be stuck. Try prying the device off of the turning mechanism and getting it in to another one of the grooves on the mechanism. If you can get it to move you should be able to get it unjammed.

Hope this helps. If not, I have no idea.

Changing shifter knob in 2003 monte carlo SS

Just took one of those off my nephews car...usually the handle has a small clip at the front bottom that needs to be pulled out. PS threw the mag handle in the garbage (because no button, and handle kept falling off)
