I always user OE parts. If the manufacturer called for these, use them. If not get the ones they call for.

SOURCE: what Bosch super 4 spark plug fits a Ford Focus 1.6 zetec.

my advise don't get those, they don't work as well as you think they do.
if you think about it if they are so much better why don't drag racers use them?
because they actually block the ignition point.

just get the factory style plugs and you will be better off.

Spark plug gap for ford focus 1.6 with bosch hr78nx plugs

Dear god. none of you sound like you know what your doing.
The Bosch HR 78 NX spark plug is a super 4 plug that has 4 outer ground electrodes and uses surface air gap technology.

There is no need to mess about gapping the plugs as they are Factory pre-gapped electrodes.
  • Higher ignition reliability thanks to eight possible ignition gaps
  • Self-cleaning thanks to surface air-gap technology
  • Increased thermal range: up to three times as many cold starts possible as with conventional spark plugs
So don't mess about gapping your super 4 Bosch, Just fit them.

Spark plugs

If you are talking about Bosch Platinum +4 plugs, then yes they will fit, but if you don't have a high powered (racing) ignition system, they won't do you any good, and might hurt your engine. Bosch Platinum +2 plugs will do an outstanding job with a newer factory ignition system, and save you some money.
