If it's a factory radio, check your fuses. If it's aftermarket then check the wiring. If it doesn't keep your presets then you lost the 12V constant(yellow wire) on the harness.

How to set radio stations?

Hello Linda Price...

Varies by make & model...
year would've also helped.

The most common way is to DIAL-IN the STATION
you want to PRE-SET you want ...

THEN simply push and hold
(just a good 4 second count ought be adequate)

Some radios give a beep to confirm...

There is (of course) another version ...
My wife's little German radio has a "memory" button...
"Position" over the station you want...

Press the MEMORY BUTTON... THEN the station
PRESET... & release.

BINGO...

The actual way to find out is to read the owners manual.

For USA models MANY FREE manuals can be down loaded

(below)
ManualsLib Makes it easy to find manuals online

hope this helps

My 1998 lincoln town car, the station were it tells u the temp and heat ac is out changed fuse nd it keeps blowing now i put a bigger fuse it held but eventually blew now my speedomader doesn't wo

From the sound of your problem I would say that you have a short in the system. It is not uncommon to find the small compressor that lifts the back shocks so badly worn and seized that needs to be replaced.Just in use it creates a lot of moisture and tends to rust out. There used to be a trick with the right-hand door switch all left hand if you're in America, all you had to do was pushed to switch in an out in three seconds three times and it would produce a code e.g. a number of flashes of its warning light. The later models properly have a similar set up.I will delve into it.Or maybe somebody reading this already knows the codes.Regards

Check all fittings, plugs and fuses. Further problem exits, it seems to bad pre-amp. Its better to replace the pre-amp. If necessary you can get aftermarket radio at wholesale price at http://www.autopartspoint.com/products/cd-radios.html

How do I program radio and a/c after battery was disconected?

Tune the radio to a favorite station, then hold down the pre-select button for a few seconds and it should set it to the station and keep it there. A/C doesn't need a re-set.
