Car stolen last night. any way for the car to be tracked???

They'd need a key to do that
unless winchhed up on a flat bed.
the IMMO blocks fuel , if no key.
knowing how it was stolen can tell you where to look.
or the police. (tell them yet?)
no lojack?

if left keys in car, maybe its just a joy rider (grand theft auto)
so may turn up parked today. (luck happens)

or if no keys left in car by you, and flat bedded
those are pro thief's..
the police would know where to look for that,
the have lists of suspected chop shops.
the strip it and sell; the parts,in the black market, or fleabay.
so far no facts by you,

why not just tell your insurance co. its stolen
then like me, the give a loaner car,
then they replace it, and end story
if car is found later , its the ins. companies car
why worry their car?

my guess is you left the keys in the car.
or lost them where other knew you and then stole it. (the IMMO can not be hacked)
so.... they had a key, and only you know why they did.
(unless towed on flat bed)
was car parked in a no parking zone
again you never said where it was parked.

the police would have asked all this.
they would also answer the tracking questions,
in a flash.

to track any car, something must be in the car to track we cant track plastic nor steel.
CELL
portable computers (some)
lojacks
or other tracking systems.
some cars have this teen tracker, that mom can track kids.
what you have in the car is anyones guess.

Only if you have LoJack installed or if you have a cell phone you left in the car or even an iPod you might be able to get the location of your car... Good luck I hope you find you car
