Typical problem with Toyota. The main charge fuse is blown out. It's under the black cap under the hood, but you have to pull the fuse box off the fender to get to the fastener underneath.

2009 ml320cdi Mercedes Benz 4matic, brake and reverse lights stay on when car is turned off, any ideas tia

There are a few potential causes for this issue with the brake and reverse lights staying on when the car is turned off on a 2009 Mercedes-Benz ML320CDI 4MATIC.
One possibility is a malfunctioning brake light switch. This switch is located near the brake pedal and is responsible for turning on the brake lights when the pedal is pressed. If the switch is faulty, it may stay engaged even when the pedal is not being pressed, causing the brake lights to remain on.
Another potential cause could be a short circuit or wiring issue in the electrical system. This could be causing power to be supplied to the brake and reverse light circuits even when the car is turned off.
Finally, there may be an issue with the car's battery or charging system. If the battery is not providing enough power to the car's electrical system, it may cause issues with the lights or other systems.
It is recommended to have a professional mechanic diagnose and repair this issue to ensure the proper repair is performed.

I have a 2001 honda civic. while shut off and parked, the brake lights were shining bright.

I would check the brake light switch and see if it needs adjusted to make the lights go off when the pedal is not depressed. You figure that anytime you have lights lit when the engine is not running is using power out of the battery that is not being replaced and will eventually cause the battery to go dead.

Battery and brake lights on

John, According to Nissan forums weak failing alternator is the common problem for bat and brk light on. If you are sure battery and alternator are good, I say check and clean battery connections and all grounds(loosen and re tighten all ground connections to give good contact), check belt for being loose.

Brake light and battery light both on

Hi Greg:

Is it possible that the brake switch is stuck on?

That would eventually cause the battery to go dead.

I'd suggest you charge the battery and try temporarily removing the wires from the brake light switch. See if the problem continues. Do not run the vehicle on the road without functional brake lights. UNSAFE, and ILLEGAL.

1999 1500 ls abs and brake light on at same time then off just sometime

WHEN YOU SEE BOTH LIGHTS AT THE SAME TIME YOU ARE HAVING BRAKE FAILURE EITHER MASTER CYLINDER FAILING OR ABS BRAKE MODULATOR FAILING.CHECK BRAKE FLUID LEVEL IN BRAKE MASTERCYLINDER. IF BRAKE FLUID LEVEL OKAY. I HAVE SEEN CASES WHERE ALTERNATOR FAILING CAUSING BATTERY VOLTS TO DROP AT 11.8 VOLTS CHECK BATTERY VOLTS AT BATTERY WHILE ENGINE RUNNING SHOULD BE 13.5 TO 14.5 VOLTS AT BATTERY WITH ENGINE RUNNING.IF BATTERY POWER IS OKAY.MORE LIKELY BRAKE MASTERCYLINDER AND ABS MODULATOR COULD BE FAILING. TAKE VECHICLE TO A GARAGE LET THEM CODE SCAN TO SEE WHAT CAUSING ABS AND BRAKE LIGHT TO COME ON.CODE SCANNING WILL SAVE YOU TIME AND MONEY.

My brake light and battery light stays on when driving. Also emergency brake does not work.

OK, the brake light is caused most likely by the emergency brake cable being broken, and the pedal or brake lever is not in position.

Also, the brake light could be caused by low brake fluid level. Check that, too.

Battery light, is caused by the charging system not working, like a bad alternator or shorted out battery, or both.

I would have these issues repaired before driving any distance.

1995 Nissan Sentra, The engine light and brake

You could have faulty altenator or short causing the battery to drain. The engine light usually comes on when anything electrical or sensor wise is faulty. Brake light will come on if, low brake fluid, e-brake handle is up.
