Honda odessey engine code p3100

There is no p3100 code!!

I think you copied this wrong. the code is p0301, which is a common one.

The P0301 code means that the cylinder 1 is misfiring or is randomly misfiring. Start by checking for intake leaks an if no leaks are found the next step is to replace the spark plugs on cylinder 1. If the problem persist more tests needs to be done to diagnose problem.

Possible causes
- Faulty spark plug 1
- Clogged or faulty fuel injector 1
- Faulty ignition coil 1
- Fuel injector 1 harness is open or shorted
- Fuel injector 1 circuit poor electrical connection
- Ignition coil 1 harness is open or shorted
- Ignition coil 1 circuit poor electrical connection
- Insufficient cylinder 1 compression
- Incorrect fuel pressure
- Intake air leak

Most likely cause:
Faulty spark plug 1 or Faulty ignition coil 1 (Ignitor coil)

Either are easy fixes. Start with a new spark plug. If the problem continues replace the coil. Pic below. new about $30-$40.

How can i fix the missfire on a cylinder toyota corolla 2000 1.8ltr

First you need to retrieve codes from the Engine control module. You can buy a cheap code retriever at harbor freight and get the codes. After you get the codes, if it is P0301 it means cyl #1, P0302 = cyl #2, P0303=cyl 3 and P0304= cyl 4. For ex: if you got P0301 you should remove the ignition coil #1(near the front of the engine, where the pulley is) and change its position with the coil # 2. Also remove the spark plug #1 and change the position with the spark plug #4. Clear the codes and start and run the engine until the check engine light goes on. Check for codes and see if the code change for a different code. If it change the position observe which one is the change. If is P0304 you have a bad spark plug, If it is P0302 you have a bad coil. If it repeat P0301, you have either a low compression, bad injector/connector, bad intake gasket them you should continue your diagnostic. I hope this help you.

Po316, po 300, po301, po305 2004 ford freestar

These codes are making me lean towards the ignition coil pack.My stepson's 2001 Sable 3.0 v6 had one cylinder misfiring(5-code P0305),which shares a coil with cylinder 1(code P0301).I diagnosed it by trading wire 1 and 5 at the coil, and the code changed to P0301.You have codes for the two cylinders on the same coil,so this is most likely it.(these codes would also trigger P0300(Multiple Misfires Detected) and P0316(Misfire Detected First 1000 Revs)).

I'm getting trouble code p01320 on 2000 nissan

p1320 is a ignition primary signal code. you may need ignition coils. not a common issue on a 2000 sentra, but depending on milage you may need coils. unfortunatelly you dont have a specific cylinder number code stored such as p0301 which is number 1 cylinder misfire and so on in your case p0301 to p0304 because its a 4 cylinder vehicle. with the p1320 its usually the whole set of 4 coils.

Hooked up computer to dodge ram 1500 4.7 liter magnum code came up p300 p301 what does this mean

P0300 is the random misfire code. P0301 is the misfire code for Cylinder #1. When was your last tune up? non platinum spark plugs should be replaced around 30-60k along with the wires. With platinum plugs that extends out to 100k. I would try a tune up first plugs and wires. Reasonably cheap fix that is a prevenitive maintenace item anyways. If you have just recently had a tune up or it does not solve your problem you most likely have a bad coil pack on cylinder#1.

Hope This Helps.

NO POWER REVS UP REAL SLOW SHOWS CODES P0301 P0138 P1687 P0355 PO351

Hi, do you have the 4.7 liter engine with coils on every cylinder? 351 and 355 indicate bad coils on cylinders 1 and 5. You can try moving the coils to see if the problem is the coils themselves or the wiring. If the codes change after moving the coils, replace the coils. These misfires could be the cause of the other codes.

2003 mercedes Benz C240 codes P0300, P0301, P0302 and P0303. Please, help me how to fix?.

P0300 Random Misfire Detected
P0301 Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected
P0302 Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected
P0303 Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected
according to this fault codes first mark ignition coils
3 ---------------- 6
2 ---------------- 5
1 ---------------- 4
RB-------------LB
this right banks and left bank, please remove Ignition coils with lids and spark plugs from right bank and swap with left bank, if fault code change as
P 0304 Cylinder 4 Misfire Detected
P 0305 Cylinder 5 Misfire Detected
P 0306 Cylinder 6 Misfire Detected
You can Identify it's a faulty ignition system then next swap ignition lids from ignition coils be careful each coils have two lids one short and other long bit deference and when you remove and fix it to the car keep in mind correct order because each coil two different fire for two spark plugs don't mix up, if you mix it can create the fault code.if you detect any fault ignition coils or spark plugs or lids replace that and also whether god or bad recommend to replace spark plugs, find the right that's most important thing, if this way couldn't found the any ignition fault next step is check fuel presser, when the engine running fuel presser must be around 4.5 bar without engine running must be 4 to 6 bar if the fuel presser too low need to check two different things one is fuel pump other is fuel injectors, in this case you can swap injectors from right bank to left bank and find is the injectors leaking, if not leaking faulty fuel pump.is this information helped you? if yes please leave a comment,

OBD11 Code with reading P0301

P0301 is the data trouble code for (cylinder 1 mis-fire detected), you can try replacing the #1 spark plug and ignition wire, but you might want to consider tuning up the vehicle especially if it has been a long time since it was last tuned up.
