Im looking for the drl control relay. I know that it is located under the passenger side of the dash. Can I get some one to tell me what it looks like or what wire bunch I have to chase to find it?

I need to find it to fix a connection on it because its not sending power to my passenger side high beam but all my other lights work perfect. Its not the bulbs because they are new and i tested before and after the connector and there is no power at all or at the connector after the passenger side panel.

I've already looked in the service manual and it only tells me which wire bunch it it attached to. It doesnt tell me the location under the dash, just that it's there.

4th Gen Prelude DRL Control module is found under the passenger footwell carpet next to the ECU. It’s kind of a pain to get to.

Its a 1998 Ford Contour, im trying to find out where my flasher signal relay is, i looked in the fuse box under my hood and in my fuse box but cannot locate where the fuse plugs in

There is another fuse box under the dash that contains primarily relays. It might be on the passengers side, or even hidden behind a side panel. Once you locate it, you will know it.

I need to know were to find the DRL Module for a 2003 F-150 4x4. My hi and low beem lights work ok , and the auto light sencor works . Its that my Day time running lights do not come on .

The wiring diagram does not show a stand alone drl module for the 03 f150. However it shows 2 drl
relays located in aux. relay box #2 located behind the right side of the dash, left of the glove box.
Also there is the drl resistor located behind the grill, right of the left headlight. Relay #1 is fused at
fuse #5-15a in the fuse block under the left dash. Relay #2 uses fuse #26-10a under left of dash.
Hope this helps.

Both Headlights Work On Lowbeam But Not On Highbeam.

First identify if your day running lights (DRL) are working. The DRL and high beams will work on the same relay. If your DRL are working, but not your high beams, you may need to replace your high beam relay which is found in the fuse panel under the hood of the engine at the right back corner; near the firewall, and passenger tire strut mount. If there is also a problem with your DRL with the high beams, its likely the DRL relay which can be found tucked under the dash.

There's usually a cover that says "relays", "fuses", etc. Lift the cover and look underneath, it should label the relays. If not, consult a manual or repair book. Try swapping similar relays from know working accessories if you don't have a new one handy.

89 chevy 2500 silverado

that was old school , vehicles with the turbo 400 transmission are equipped with an ECM controlled downshift system , when vehicle is at speeds below 70 mph a forced (detent) downshift is possible by fully depressing the accelerator ,when the ECM detects a drop in manifold vacuum (high map sensor reading) the downshift control relay is energized by the ECM , the relay detects battery voltage to the detent solenoid in the transmission to open open an oriface to force the transmission to downshift ..... if yours is not working i would first check the downshift relay , under hood , picture is so bad i can't tell , looks like on the firewall more to the passenger side , next to fuel pump relay , if it needs more diag than that maybe you should get an estimate for repair from a trans shop or such , hope ya fix it , cheers .

DRL

Most DRL's are controlled by a relay. The relay malfunctions after a while. Need to go to the dealer and purchase a DRL relay. Once you see what it looks like open hood and match it to the bad one, then replace. If you can not locate it the library has mechanical books for you make and model to look up location of the drl relay.
