Had the same problem with a 95 chevy 2500.. After ~6 months and numerous parts thrown at it (distributor ignition module, distributor cap & rotor, maf sensor, & more) it ended up being plugs & wires. One plug had missed the last plugs change somehow and was burnt pretty bad, and a wire routed on top of the coil was arcing pretty bad. A new set of wires isn't cheap but if you haven't changed them in a while, they could be worn and arcing. Same with spark plugs, but you'll usually notice a performance improvement with new plugs & wires and better gas mileage, etc. so it's good upgrade regardless.. and easy to install.
Sherry have distributor cap/rotor and wires change if they have not been done in a while. The cap and wires get hair line cracks after a while, allowing moisture to enter and cause engine to miss and run ruff, if they get bad enough truck may not start at all.

Possibly a plug wire or cracked distributor cap. I'd take a spray bottle and while it's running (be careful not to get your body parts in danger of the fan) spray some water on the cap area. If everything seems fine, you could spray down each plug wire at a time. See if you find the culprit that way. For a vehicle so old, if you haven't done a tune up lately. It's probably a good time. Replace the distributor cap and rotor. Plugs and wires.
SOURCE: My ford escape abs system
The radio is cutting out because the ABS coming on is robbing the radio of voltage -- radios require a minimum voltage or they will shut off.
The ABS needs service at a shop. There is probably nothing wrong with the radio.
The squeaking inidicates worn brake pads / shoes -- needs a brake job.
More info, please let me know.

sounds like youre coil pack is failing.disconect the coil one at a time.and start the vehicle. if no chang in while running its the coils.the same procedure holds true to the fuel injectors.try disconecting one at a time and start the vehicle .if no change its the injector

xr6 is this a turbo"?
is car stock (original)?
the first is compression tests, at wide open throttle.
exact engine by whom not sure, but is this interference engine?>
chain, drive cams.
noise is never good, find it.
is this SOHC or DOHC, or tell exact motor name,
lets see if wiki does these cars.... its poor, cant even find real ford names for it.
for the BA-BF & FG XR6Turbo, ?
if this is a DOHC engine, say so first. as we never crank them
after noise, ever. we do a leak down tests. BY HAND.
if that fails , the valves are bent, and do not crank engine ever
until the bends are gone; "learn how to respect DOHC engines"
Testimonial: "It is a original stock standard Tickford engine as fitted in the factory, EF model, not turbo charged, single overhead cam, chain driven. The knocking sound appears to come from piston 3 or 4 area. Engine sounds described from when breakdown occurred - not random cranking...that would be insane! - , when I turn the engine by hand everything appears fine. I put a pin camera into the engine through the spark plug holes and there are no signs of scoring or valves hitting piston tops. Chambers appear normal. I am hoping to avoid a complete strip down as parts (including head gaskets, etc) are scarce for this model in SA. Has anyone ever had an issue like this?"
