You can not tune the mix-ECU does this. The only way this change could cause this problem is you have "unmetered air" getting to engine. Insure all hoses are correctly installed, have no leaks, and that MAF is working right.

The fill pipe is right back there. Check to see if a hose has been damaged. Check the spout area, is there a overflow pipe or a seam that could be leaking into the trunk?

SOURCE: 1995 Toyota 4Runner. 4WD

I had the exact same problem and after reading all of the advice on the internet (mostly saying "bad o2 sensor") and changing out every sensor imaginable, distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs, plug wires, air flow meter, fuel injectors and harness and every other "fix" I had read about, I took it to a mechanic. $1000 later and a new valve to replace the bent one and my 4runner runs like new. Which for the sluggish 3.0 isn't saying much anyway. Point being that I probably threw 1000 bucks worth of new parts on it before I actually took it in and got the problem taken care of. Save time and money and take it to a pro or pull the engine apart and check the valves yourself.

Car burning fuel fast and runs rough on idle...

If you haven't changed the plugs/coils in a while, change them. You may need a tune up. Plugs/coils can cause fuel loss and rough idle.

2001 mazda tribute v6 runs rough cold ildes at about 200 rpm till it warms up then its ok what could it be

I replaced the upper & lower manifold runners seals, now it runs perfect, The reason it runs ok when warm is because the manifolds expand and seal the gaps on the surfaces that the worn old seals are not closing. Also change the spark plugs.

04 mazda 6 lean condition

sounds like you have a vacuum leak. It is sucking in extra air from somewhere. possibly the intake manifold gaskets. The extra air coming in fools the computer / o2 sensors to believe it has a lean mixture then it will try to compensate for the lean mixture and add more fuel.

My '01 Tribute V6 3.0 has a rough idle at a cold start up, once the engine is warmed up and I have been driving for 5-10 minutes it clears up, but until then it will go dead if I do not give it gas at...

Don't waste your time. Have the intake manifold gaskets (upper and lower) replaced. Check all vacuum lines for leaks. Clamp all vacuum hose connections.
Do NOT replace any sensors unless the computer codes indicate.
THIS WILL FIX YOUR PROBLEM!
