2010 Ford Focus. Where are the freeze plug location on it please?

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to a Focus category.

There are 4 engines for the Ford Focus Tammy
1.6
1.8
2.0
2.6

They are always on the engine block at front and rear sometimes on the side and sometimes on the top.

Your Google search query is

2010 ford focus (engine size) freeze plug location

Then look at the images tab. This is not normally a home mechanic job!

How to change rear passenger side freeze plug on a 99 grandprix with out pulling motor

is it the 4 cylinder motor are you sure its not the waterpump leaking out weap hole ? .It might be one of those sizes that they make the rubber expansion screw tight freeze plugs for if so you knock the old freeze plug out with a hammer and 3/8" extension bar try to flip one side in carefully that causes the other side of the freeze plug to swing out where you can get hold of it with something to yank it out . If its winter and looks like it is going to take hours leave freeze plug IN and you can see of feel the freeze plug " you may be able to drain the radiator first then sandpaper the hole in the freeze plug (where it leaks at) okay go to auto zoan buy a pack of J&B weld (12 hour epoxy) after cleaning the sanded area dry it with lacquer thinner or acetone (nail polish remover) to dry the antifreeze from surface dry mix the J&B weld in two halves (about 2 tablespoons ) on a plastic mix it good ! if its rel cold freezing or below heat it just before smearing it onto the hole (leak ) you may cut a small disc(cardboard) the size of the inside of freeze plug put the mixed J&B onto the disc and smash it down onto the hole area " if you do this right it should be 1/8" or more 3/16" at the hole spot (you sanded) wait for it to dry (harden)all night or a day after words you can refill the radiator with coolant and get it full then you should be good for anywhere from 3 months to 3 years depending on how well you applied the method and other factors (not mentioned ) hope this helps someone of course if you can uses a hammer and socket to drive the original type plug in then do that put some sealer on the hole as you pound it in there you have 3 choices

How to change a freeze plug in 1988 dodge d150 with a 318

There are freeze plugs in the back of the cylinder heads and in the back of the block requiring the transmission to be removed or the engine to be removed for access. A big, nasty job at best. Here is a picture of the front of the engine with brass plugs; the rear has the same number in similar locations:
aemop318rlb.jpg
Dorman makes copper plugs that expand with a wrench for tight places [see link to Amazon for an example; you may need different sizes]; they also make rubber ones that don't last. The copper ones with the acorn nut won't work next to the starter on the side of the block.
Dodge V8 5 2 318 CID Rebuilt Engine [another picture of a block]
A major problem is getting the old plugs out of the back of the heads with little clearance to the fire wall, but the real problem ones are hidden by the transmission bell housing.

Where is freeze plug on 1995 geo tracker

old post.
This is really a suzuki G16 engine question
thats ok,
The G16s are used on Suzuki's and Trackers
Vitara's , Esteems, no others world wide.

I have all the photos and books on those cars.
real books and all parts lists. on them , graphics tool.
the freeze plugs (core plugs on all over.)
IN 1996 only one engine, G16b.
But all G16 blocks these are the same.
sides on all G16 base blocks.
2 left side 1 above filter, one just to rear of that, they are huge.
have to be blind to miss left side, (left means same as left car door)

the problem here is there are 2 engines in 1995, then one in 1996
the heads on both engine are NOT THE SAME>
the head is 8v and 16valves heads
and the 16v has freeze plugs in the top ,next to the cam. inside under valve cover !!!.

why not say where the leak is so we can narrow the search. or state the JOB?????????

i have photos of all parts in any G16.
there are no freeze plug in any 8valve head.
but the 16v yes !!!
the 16v head small inside plugs, if leaking turn the engine oil to milk chocolate fast and worse of driven. (just undid worst)

the blocks are the same, both engines, not pistons,
there are no front or rear engine block freeze plugs only side plugs 4 total.
and sure the right side under intake man will be hard to see. look under car right side to see em.
2 left easy to see and 2 right harder.
the right engine block has 2 freeze plugs one in easy view center , under intake man.
and one tucked behind that water manifold that can leak too.
now the last plugs
the 16valve head has a front freeze plug behind the cam cog wheel. and none on the rear of the head.
so 1 front and 3 inside, top.
My guess, G16b has 8 plugs total.
G16a has 4.

things that go POP in the night (cold night)
the rear water outlet fitting (head) does explode every time one runs this head on pure water, frozen, ask my how I know that, and what clueless girl did that,, heheheheheheheheh

Freeze Plug size

When you buy one from a parts store or from the dealer, they will know the size you need, based on year, make, model and the particular engine size that is in your vehicle.

What does the water plug/freeze plug on the side of the engine on the block of a grand cherokee 2.7 CRD look like?? Do u screw it out or punch it out? Hopeless

Freeze plugs look like cup stuffed into the block. Round and indented. They vary in size from 1/2" - 3" ruffly. Usually poke or drill a hole in them then pry them out of the block. Then tap the new one in with something thats the same size as the inside of the new plug.
