Timing belt broke so I need to knoe Where the timing marks are located to reset the timie
From an autodata publication that is used by most accredited repair shops , there is no timing marks as such for the cam shafts but a plate that has to be positioned exactly
I strongly recommend that you get a workshop manual and follow it closely as the fittment of the belt is not a straight forward job
Also it is an intereference engine which means that in the event of a belt breaking , valve damage is an almost certainty
Do you know if the Audi a4 Quattro 3.0 Manuel is compatible with the a6 Quattro 3.0 being that I can only find the manuel for the a4 not the a6 any where
the autodata technical publication show
Models

all of these have just 2 cam shafts
Model
A4 3.0 L V6 * A6 3.0L V6
years
2002-2006
engine identification
AVK, BNG
these engines run 4 cam shafts the engine ident will be on the compliance plate on the fire wall.
The manual you will want will be for the engine that has the number of camshafts that yours hasor fits an engine ident letters If the local spares shops do not have the manual, then places like autodata or other automotive specialist book shops will have a manual.
The book recommends a time of 4.5 hours labor to change the belt--add to that head times if the valves are damaged
