SOURCE: heater core on a 2003 Chevrolet pickup 4 wheel drive crew cab

if you have air conditioning you will need to take it to a garage and recover the r134, you will need to remove the dash to allow you to remove the heater box, it's an ugly job, I've done a dozen or so and can do it in about 6 hours now, the first time it was closer to 11 hrs, good luck

SOURCE: truck sputters and dies when you put it in drive or reverse.

Most Likely a vacume leak. Check the engine and surrounding engine bay for a loose hose. I would check the mass air sensor, make sure it is free of debries.

SOURCE: when slowing down & stopping 2005 Mazda tribute sputters and dies

Sounds like it could possibly be a vaccume problem, the computer sees that the vaccume has a low pressure and thus fludding the engine, or visa versa, it's seeing too high of a pressure and cutting the fuel comsumption to a minumum enough to make the engine sputter and die.. Does this happen when the cars in Netural or Reverse or Park? Just Drive?

Why would my1998 nissan quest dies when put in drive?

on some automatics it can be a map sensor fault of a MAF sensor fault. you would really need the codes to be read. but if you remove the MAF sensor and it drives there is your fault. might just need cleaning with MAF cleaner to sort it out there are videos to help you do this without damaging the sensor.

We drove the car about 60 miles. Fueled up before

Try replacing the fuel filter and putting a bottle of HEET in the tank.
