2006 Honda Pilot - Road Noise - not tires.

2006 honda pilot - 41,000 miles. Over 20 mph, road noise is pretty loud. Have ruled out tires (although tread wear on front v. back has been markedly different). Completed a 4-wheel alignment. Could the road noise be due to a bad wheel bearing at such a low level of miles? Maybe the differential? Fluid's never been changed?

I have the same problem it's annoying! Still can't figure it out, the dealer said Honda is looking into it.... This seems to be a common issue

The tires make steady noise , check the wheel bearing as noises get high and low at the same speed , and i also would check for diff if it's 4wd.

Noise coming from the rear end of my 2004 honda pilot it really only occurs during cold weather and after it warms up you hear it slightly

When does the noise occur, while driving only, or driving and idle, in gear, or in neutral and park? If it occurs all the time (while driving and at a stand still in cold weather) it could be the fuel pump. If it occurs only while driving, it may be a wheel bearing. Describe the noise (humming, grinding, whirring, etc), and what is the mileage on the Pilot? Answer my questions so I can fine tune my answer. Thanks!

Honda Pilot 111,000 miles. Wheel or tire noise?

it can be any of the above, rotate the tires and see if the noise location seems to change, but the last thing i would suspect is the CV, they just click when turning, the wheel bearing is my choice here, they roar, tires make a diff noise.

2000 honda accord with 111000 miles. About 3000 or 4000 miles ago I was starting to get excessive road noise coming from the back axle area. I thought tires, but with the new set on there, the noise is...

My thoughts exactly. Could also be an alignment issue (rear). It could be as simple as poorly balanced tires. Take it to a trusted mechanic. BTW: Just passed 125K on my EX.
