2006 Honda Pilot - Road Noise - not tires.

if the noise is there and it get loud as the speed increase
then check your wheel bearing.

Check Exhaust System Heat Shields
Get under vehicle & push up & pull down on it,
to duplicate the movement on the road.

THERE IS DEFENATELY SOMETHIN WRONG WITH THE TIRES HAVE SOME BODY WITH EXPIRIANCE CHECK THEM OUT
AND WILE AT IT TAKE ALOOK AT THE FRONT END AT THE SAME TIME.

When does the noise occur, while driving only, or driving and idle, in gear, or in neutral and park? If it occurs all the time (while driving and at a stand still in cold weather) it could be the fuel pump. If it occurs only while driving, it may be a wheel bearing. Describe the noise (humming, grinding, whirring, etc), and what is the mileage on the Pilot? Answer my questions so I can fine tune my answer. Thanks!

it can be any of the above, rotate the tires and see if the noise location seems to change, but the last thing i would suspect is the CV, they just click when turning, the wheel bearing is my choice here, they roar, tires make a diff noise.

My thoughts exactly. Could also be an alignment issue (rear). It could be as simple as poorly balanced tires. Take it to a trusted mechanic. BTW: Just passed 125K on my EX.

caster,camber and, wheel bearings
have your car 4 wheel aligned this will adjust your rear caster and, camber.
have your wheel bearings checked

unless you are off road or it snows alot where you live I would recommend MICHILIN or CONTINENTAL touring style tire

you have a bad torque converter. well documented on the Honda Pilot forum and Honda is ripping everyone off including me on the problem.
