Looking for crank sensor on my 95 Yukon. Its not near the starter, and not near front crank pulleys. Where else do I look? Could it be in the distributor, and what does it look like?

The crank sensor signal comes from the IGNITION MODULE that is located in the distributor.

Crank position sensor 1994 toyota celica gt location and removal procedure

Look at the front of the engine near the crank pulley, on some later models the crank position sensor is located in the timing cover near the front next to the pulley, it has a wire coming from it going up to a connector near the alternator, if it's not there then it is built into the distributor.

Crank senor

The crank sensor is on the front( bottom) of the engine behind the crank pulley, the pulley will have to be removed to access the sensor. It is the largest pulley directly in front of the oil pan.
