WELL THE BATTERY HAD ENOUGH POWER TO START IT YES/NO THE BATTERY IS NOT THE ISSUE UNLESS NOW YOU HAVE KILLED IT FROM REPEATEDLY TRYING TO START THE CAR IF THE CAR STARTED THEN DIED AND DOES THE SAME THING WITH A STRONG BATTERY IT'S EITHER THE THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR OR THE IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE HAS BURNED OUT



THE TOP IS THE IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE THE BOTTOM IS THE THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR ONE OTHER THING HERE THIS IS ALSO POSSIBLE DO YOU HAVE GAS AND IS THERE GAS COMING INTO THE THROTTLE BODY SPRAY SOME STARTER FLUID INTO THE THROTTLE BODY OPENING WHILE CRANKING THE ENGINE WHEN IT STARTS KEEP SPRAYING IT IF THE CAR KEEPS RUNNING THE FUEL PUMP OR FUEL PUMP RELAY WENT I'm NOT THERE I NEED AS MUCH INFO AS I CAN GET TO TRY TO HELP YOU WITH THIS SO YOU MUST BE SPECIFIC AS TO WHAT WAS DONE OR IS HAPPENING STEPHEN

Unless you clear the code, sometimes you have to run the vehicle for a few days for the code to clear on its own, once it revognizes that the problem is solved

Try cleaning or replacing the throttle positioning sensor and idle positioning sensor they get carbon built up on them and can cause the problem your having. Also do a tune up plugs, plug wires, Dist Cap and rotery button. And it wouldn't hurt to put some Lucas fuel injector cleaner in the tank next time you get some gas.

Fuel filter,air filter,IAC sensor,Bring up low idle at throttle body is small set screw.

Sounds like a possible throttle positioning sensor.

my 1990 toyota starlet idles fine its when i put my foot on the throttle it revs up then drops down by itself even when my foot is to the floor

same thing but diff parts stores call it diff name

Check your fuel system. i.e. the fuel pump, nozzles.

The nozzles is not through wherein there is no enough fuel going to the engine.

it could be an o2 sensor. it could also just need a tune up
