Why won't my 2002 Toyota Sienna idle on it's own? I have replaced the Throttle Positioning Sensor already.

What would the next possible problem as to why my van won't idle on it's own? I have checked all hoses & could not see or hear any vacuum leaks in any of the lines. It is a 3.0 LTR engine

Clean the IAC motor and inside the throttle body. This will fix your problem.

Testimonial: "Thanks, I've cleaned the throttle body but not the AIC. Thanks will give it a shot!"

Toyota Sienna 2002 - have "Check Engine" and the codes " P1135 A/F sensor Bad Operation ". I replaced the sensor "USOS-4000" but the Check Engine still ON. what are my next steps? Thanx

Unless you clear the code, sometimes you have to run the vehicle for a few days for the code to clear on its own, once it revognizes that the problem is solved

1992 Dodge Dakota When I engage the transmission in forward or reverse the truck dies. Put it in park and can start truck? Suggestions

Try cleaning or replacing the throttle positioning sensor and idle positioning sensor they get carbon built up on them and can cause the problem your having. Also do a tune up plugs, plug wires, Dist Cap and rotery button. And it wouldn't hurt to put some Lucas fuel injector cleaner in the tank next time you get some gas.

The engine won't idle

Check your fuel system. i.e. the fuel pump, nozzles.

The nozzles is not through wherein there is no enough fuel going to the engine.

Take care.

And don't forget to rate this.
