When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect it again, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your car radio. The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. If you do not have this code you need to go to your Holden service centre and get them to enter this code for you.
The code is unique to every radio. Sometimes the radio code is written in the owners manual by a previous owner. If you can't find the code for the radio you will have to bring it to a mitsubishi dealer and have them get the code for you. They will probably charge you a small fee.
You can pull the radio and get the codes or call the dealer and get them up to you. You will need your vin # in the window and you will have ti have your name on the registration number before they will give it to you.
The main dealer will supply the code usually for a small charge.
Have a look on line first though because some are offered freely .
You will need the model year and chassis number.
