Hi my mini convertible roof it not working . hooks will not lift

If the hooks unlock on one side and not the other the cable that pulls the hooks is broken on one side. This requires the front section of the convertible top to be replaced. Unfortunately there is no way to fix the cable that connects to the hooks.

Convertible top wont go down

Check the fluid level for the pump. It is located left side of trunk. If you turn off the pump can you manually raise and lower the top with out problems ? If you can the problem has to be in the fluid. or pump.

My convertible top on my 2001 mustang will not go follow down, passenger side gets stuck back bar bends

In the rear quarter panel in front of the rear wheel and behind the rear speakers there is a Hydraulic Lift Cylinder or piston that moves to bring the top up and down. Sometimes a nut that holds that piston in place will get loose and need to be re-tightened. While there you may also check the bushing that keeps it snug on the bolt. It often cracks and makes the cylinder woobly.

My top on my 1997 saab 900 se turbo convertible, the top is'nt letting down correctly, the window is not goin down like it suppose too. it gets stuck at the last step when its in the proccess of...

Here the fix the saab convertable has the famous failed ground wire of the convertable top, the line the ground in the converatable itself and yes it fails, here is what you do behind the driver side is the convertable module you must identify the ground (I think it brown but very not sure), ground the convertable control ground wire and you will be functioning in no time dont bother to repair the ground in the top just the control top module and attach it to a good ground where it is mounted

Green hydralic liquid coming from convertible top saab 2004 9-3

You are probably leaking hydraulic (ATF) fluid.
Check the lines and cylinders for leaks. Replace any leaking lines or cylinders. Always replace them in pairs.
When the leak is fixed...
Behind the rear seat is the motor/pump/reservoir.
With the top down, fill the reservoir with ATF.
Cycle the system a few times.
Repeat till the reservoir will accept no more fluid.
You can change it to a manual top by removing the bolt at the top of the cylinders and lowering the both shafts down into the cylinders.

The top on my 2005 mini cooper s will not go down .

often times this problem ends up needing a front sunroof section of the conv top replaced. The cable that drives the hooks to unlatch is most likely broken and that is currently the only fix. EXPENSIVE. Sorry

Convertable top will go down but will not come back up.

I had the same problem with my 95 GT. You may have a leak in your system (motor, lines, cylinders). It seems there just isnt enough fluid to push the top up. I think Ford used the same system for 01 also. I had to replace the hydraulic cylinder that pushes the top up. My fluid leaked out because one of the cylinders was bad. This may be the problem. Located the motor and look for leaks.

Convertible top has flaps hanging on inside of car. back seat area both sides, looks like it should snap to something but don't see anywhere to snap it.

There is a nylon cord that pulls the side flaps down when it opens. On mine one of the eyelets that the cord runs through broke ( a plastic piece. I am working on mine now. one sid eof mine still works right and I'm able to copy it. I'll post the solution when I get it fixed.
