Why doesn't it turn over?

Used parts such as starters and altinators don't last. It might **** but it sounds like you need to buy a new starter,altinator, and battery. Or just start with buying one at a time.

titen the batt cables or where they connect to starter--relay cud hav an issue--or new starter may be bad

loosen, remove, clean and reinstall large cable that runs from starter to battery. hope this helps, good luck.

does it have a 1 heavy click when trying to start? if so it needs new solenoid contacts, so find a starter shop to replace them for you, if you cant, you will need to replace the starter, but replacing the contacts is all it needs and its much cheaper.

Check ALL your connections. Take each Batt terminal off and scrape them or buy a Batt. brush from parts store/cheap 7 bucks. If you can jump it it may be the Batt. has just gone.. Clicking means you have a bad connection or the Batt is shot.

if when you jump it starts its your batt if if keeps dying it your alternator the clicking sound is your statrer which means thats good try the batt when you buy a new one it will have a warranty soo if it dies because the alt you will get a new one batt for free (the alt charges the batt)

Starter power wire could be grounding out causing it to lock the starter in even if the engine is running, as well as making the cable arc at the battery. I would first trace the wire from the battery to the starter and make sure it isn't grounding somewhere. If it isn't it could be the starter going bad internally. My guess would be the wiring, especially where it bolts to the starter.

starter is on passenger side of engine where tranny and engine mate.make sure batt. is full charge,connections at batt. are all tight,if every thing checks out and starter still only clicks pull it out have tested to make sure its defect and replace.

It sounds like you have the Starter Solinoid Wires Crossed if the Battery cables are getting hot.

The Batt does not have a full charge or it is the wrong cranking AMP's for the car... find out if it is the right Batt and also that it is put on a "slow charge" over night or at least 6 hr's
