Could be just fuse blown, or headlight bulb blown, if both ok, check headlight contactor.

Try checking both a; your fuses, and b; check your bulbs. You should have two fuse boxes, one under hood and one in or under the dash. Check those for bad, blown or weak fuses. And check your headlights bulbs for them being good and their connection. If this doesn't fix your problem, you may check out your highbeam switch.

Do you have tail ligts and side marker lights with drls on? if so you will have only dim headlights. Check fuses, I think the headlights are fused seperately.

Have you looked into the Light Switch for that part of the circuit, check to see that when in fact you do switch the headlights on there is power distributed out of it, ALSO , check at the actual light sockets in the back and see if u have power and ground present if either is not there you will have to trace it back till you find your loss. Check Fuses 1st off its the fastest way to make certain you will have power present to light switch. Also check connections sometimes the older vehicles get rust at the connectors and loose conductivity
